Hauteur is defined as arrogance or disdainful pride. Unless you are a prominent person in society or conventionally beautiful, you are viewed as arrogant if you have too much dignity or self-respect. It's never good to be too complacent or willfully blindsided, but everyone deserves to have a sense of hauteur, no matter who you are or what you look like.

I want this website, blog, shop, forum, etc., to stand against the industries that want to put aside those they do not deem worthy, and create a community to discuss, learn, talk, and know our worth.
